IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summer

I havn't written in awhile, but hey! I'm finally in 8th grade.....and finally the top dogs in our school again. Soooo..... summer was great! Spent two weeks of it with my mom and brother in San Fransisco and Oregon, where we visited family. Oh, how I love San Fransisco. I want to live there when I get older. Maybe I could get a job doing something with graphic art or there are lots of art schools in the downtown area. I loved Fishermans Wharf and Union Square, how they're so different with their different vibes and kind of people...slackers to business men. That's what I call peaceful!

I haven't written on here for quite a while! I guess you could say I've been busy or just lazy. It's 2009! Sure the month is March but I'm still celebrating. Last week was St. Patti's. It was real fun and my school sure did take advantage of wearing all green......... green sunglasses, green hats, even some guys were showing off their green boxers! Anyways, now that I'm 13 I am officially a real teenager and not just almost or practically but fully and completely a teenager with mood swings and acne(not quite yet). So far since starting 6th grade I have survived middle school without too much embarrassment. Maybe a few falls here and there but other than that my profile's pretty clean of anything anyone could dig up to tease me about and ruin the rest of my middle school life. It's the middle of my 7th grade year and already it seems like the end of the year is just above the horizon(as wise people may say). This year is great! I love my class. I don't think there's anyone that I don't like in my classes anyways except maybe a few annoying people here and there.
I recently cut my hair. It's pretty drastic! It was almost to my elbows and now it's above my shoulders with layers. It's pretty edgy looking! Today my mom was my home base teacher. It wasn't awful but it was some what embarrassing when she called on me to answer a question and I didn't know the answer because I wasn't paying attention. There's been a lot of drama at school! Usually the drama doesn't have anything to do with me so I just sit back and watch. It's what makes school entertaining when your homework is done and the classwork is just plain easy cheesy. But this time it revolved all around me. I won't go to much into details but first of all I have to keep this humungo secret from one of my best friends even though it involves her because I promised this guy or it won't happen. Second of all there's this annoying untrue rumor going around that I found out about today. I even know who started it- this annoying little twerp who's always hated me because I wouldn't go out with him. He drives me nuts. Plus this guy who everyone knows likes me went out with this other short chick just because she asked him out and he's not man enough to ask a girl out himself!!
I hope no one reads this. I kind of got off track. Anyways my fingers are tired and I'm thinking about playing video games online. See y'all!!! :)

home again

The week before last week my family and I got back from the mountains. I went to school that Thursday and had my my first day of gym which I can definitely say was an experience! Before that though we spent the four day weekend in Boone. On Saturday, the first day we got there we went to our hotel but couldn't go to our room 'till 4:00 so we got in my dad's soccer mom van and went to this plain feild of snow that we found while driving. We took out the skim board that we brought along and rode the snow covered hills and soaked our pants ,when falling off, from the snow. The next day we decided to go tubing down a mountain. As we were driving up to the mountain the temperature went all the way down to 4 degrees. Since it was so cold we bought ski masks that covered our whole faces except for our eyes.
The first time I went down I went with my butt sitting in the tube but after the second time when I tried goning on my stomach thats all I did for the rest of the time. I rode down about five times and probally would have gone down one more time if my toes hadn't froze. That night my brother and I went swimming in the hotel's indoor pool.

The next day we went sledding some more on our skim board and pretty much just drove around and looked at the sights.

On the last day we went ice skating! My brother did great for his first time and I did really good.........untill the end. I was skating when all of a sudden I fell flat on my face. I had a blach and yellow eye for about a week after that! At the end of the day though I climed a 40 ft. rock wall 3 times!!! What a weekend.....besides the accident that occured.

The Potato Kid

The Potato Kid....... May sound weird but it's the title to a book I started today. I am not sure quite what it's about because I only got to the second chapter. So far it was pretty good so I thought it would make a pretty good title too because it some how reminded me about my trip that I am going on with my family. We are going to the glorious and freezing cold mountains of North Carolina.

We plan to go skiing when we get there but we are not sure if it is going to snow but there is a snow forecast for Saturday, the day we plan to arrive at the mountains. But before that we have been given the glory to pack our clothes, tomorrow...I can't wait(not)! I have a dance tomorrow at my school so as soon as I get home!

I can't wait to get to the mountains because I haven't seen snow for a long time!

My mom said that we might bring my brother's skim board that he just got for Christmas to use in the snow as a sled since we don't own one, living at the beach in all, if there is snow when we get there but my dad was on the website of the hotel that we are staying at and there were piles and mountains of snow! I can't wait to leave in two days! Adios!!!

Back to School

Last week I went back to SMS. Monday was dreary, Tuesday was boring, all I did on Wednsday was sit, pay attention, and try not to fall asleep when my teacher gave a lecture about not throwing trash in the desk (which I never do). Thursday was pretty interesting and worth while, exspecialy when we were doing a progect on the weird masks we were making in class. Friday was my favorite day of all but mostly when that hand on the clock struck 2:20 and the weekend had begun!

Saturday I attended my art class in which I go to on every first saturday of each month. It is a painting class and this time we did a painting that had alot of dark blues and blacks. It was very pretty though! On sunday I helped out at my brother's church class. After that my mom, brother, and I went shopping at Walmart and I got five DVDs. All in all it was a pretty good week! Tomorrow- the next week of school!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year's Day! I have been busy lately so I haven't had a chance to type up anything! My birthday on December 28 was ausome! My family and I went out to dinner at a chinese restraunt. After that my dad took me to go see the movie National Treasure, the Book of Secrets. It was a fantastic movie that I wouldn't mind watching again!

Any ways, last night was New Year's Eve and my family and I (including my dad who usually is out by 10:00) stayed up untill the hand on the clock striked twelve but the minute after that we were allready in our beds past out! Ha Ha Ha.....
Before that we were at our neighbor's house playing Apples to Apples and having as bonfire. I guess I could say I had a good New Year's Eve! Who knows what will happen today (New Year's Day) but I can't wait to type it out of my mind!
